See below for Testing requirements. Beginning with the January test, all
requirements will be enforced and there will be no exceptions.
o
Christmas Holiday Hours:
o
Closed Saturday, December 24th-Sunday, January 1st.
Regular schedule resumes Monday, January 2nd.

I would greatly appreciate it if when your children play with the toys in the
lobby, you would make sure they put them away before leaving. Along the same
lines, please do not let them use the flyers, Student Creeds and Intent to
Promotes that I print as scrap paper for drawing.

Upcoming Events:
o
Kids Escrima seminar Tuesday, January 17th @6-7:30pm. Price of this
seminar is $25 and will include one set of burned rattan sticks (retail price of
$12.95).
o
Thai Kickboxing Black Belt Test has been rescheduled for Monday, February 6th.
We have several people who will be testing for Thai Black Belt.
o
Adult After Christmas Party will be Saturday, January 14th Please
block out that date now, details will follow.
o
Beginning January 18th, we will be starting our Jeet Kunee Do program. As you may
or may not know, Bruce Lee started JKD and I recently became certified as an
instructor. I am excited to be able to offer this program. Schedule and pricing
information coming soon.
o
T-shirts are allowed all in place of GI tops.
Please remember Testing & other special
events mean formal GI tops.
o
Training in Street Clothes is EVERY Friday.
Come in regular street clothes. Shirts should have no lettering if it is not an
East West t-shirt.

Belt Testing: |
o
Testing Requirements: In order to be able to test
o
Minimum of 8 classes since your last test.
o
You must have your Intent to Promote or
Lessons in Mindfulness.
o
Your Account Must Be Current.
o
You Must Know Your Material.
o
You must be on time for the class you are testing in or for Belt Testing.
o
You must pre-test prior to Belt Test.
o
Participate In School Functions.
o
Arrive ½ hour early for Belt Test
o
THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.

Stripe/Belt Pre-Testing,
January 16-20th Please note that this is a departure from the
normal 2nd full week of the month. |

Belt Testing-Saturday,
January 21st @ 9:00am.
